Seasonal Camps

Spring Break Art & Nature Camp - March 25th - 28th, from 9:30 am - 12:30 pm

Join us at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve for an exciting mix of art and nature activities in our Spring Break Camp! This year we are hosting a half-day Spring Break Camp Program (9:30 am - 12:30 pm),  from March 25th - 28th.

Our experienced instructors have a variety of programming prepared to offer children a unique opportunity to connect with the outdoors and engage with their creative sides! Campers will spend the first half of their morning outside guided by our experienced and knowledgeable environmental educators, connecting to the unique wildlife habitats of the reserve and exploring pond life, wetland, and forest ecosystems. Topics for this year's camps include: All about Wetlands, Beavers, Pollinators, and "Pond Prowl" (all about aquatic life in our ponds).

In the second half of each day, our art teacher John LeFlock will guide the campers through a variety of creative activities in an exploration of artistic techniques - working with multiple mediums to showcase the importance of art, especially when connecting with nature.

This program is suitable for ages 5 to 12 (4 year-old campers may attend with an older sibling).

Join in on 4 days of fun for just $150.00 per camper. Booking is available through our online platform, Peek (see "book now" button below) or in-person at our Interpretive Centre, staffed daily from 10-3.

The Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve is a non-profit, charitable organization and all program fees go directly to supporting our conservation & education programs!
